Jairzinho Rozenstruik adds JDS to the highlight reel with R2 KO
‘Bigi Boy’ continues to rocket up the Heavyweight rankings with second round finish of Junior Dos Santos at UFC 252
An undefeated Jairzinho Rozenstruik (10-1) was on track for a story book title run with back to back KO victories over Andrei Arlovski and Alistair Overeem until his efforts were derailed by Heavyweight title challenger Francis Ngannou via Round 1 KO (0:20).
Junior Dos Santos (21-7) enjoyed a three fight win streak with victories over Blagoy Ivanov, Tai Tuivasa and Derrick Lewis before hitting a roadblock with back to back losses to Francis Ngannou and Curtis Blaydes. With the dust settling on the Heavyweight championship and the number one contender spot, Dos Santos believes that he is only a few victories away from establishing himself as next in line.
